  • How can I pay for my purchase at Life by the Pond?
    At Life by the Pond, we offer a variety of payment options to ensure our customers have a convenient and secure shopping experience. You can pay at our website which is fully PCI DSS compliant, meaning we meet the highest information security standard for companies accepting credit card payments. Alternatively, you can send and e-transfer to info@lifebythepond.com or stop by our shop and pay with debit or credit. Don't worry about choosing a color just yet, you'll have plenty of time to select a stain or paint of your choice. Rest assured, whichever method of payment you choose, we prioritize your security and satisfaction.
  • What types of wood do you use for your furniture at Life by the Pond?
    At Life by the Pond, we pride ourselves on using high-quality, durable woods for all of our furniture pieces. We primarily use pine, poplar, maple, oak, and black walnut. Pine is a popular choice due to its flexibility to take on any stain color. Poplar is also a versatile option that can be stained in a variety of colors, including natural and black. Oak, on the other hand, should not be stained but instead sealed to help moisturize and protect the piece. Black walnut is a rich, dark lumber that cannot be stained, but its natural beauty shines through in every finished piece. Regardless of the wood type, we ensure our furniture is crafted to the highest standards to provide you with a long-lasting and beautiful addition to your home.
  • What colors do you have available?

  • Will the furniture I receive from Life by the Pond be the same color as the piece I saw in the showroom?
    Life by the Pond shows customers pieces stained in a certain color so they can have an idea of the color tone it will turn out. However, as the pieces are built with lumber from different trees, each piece will have its unique color. This means that the new piece may turn out slightly darker or lighter than the one seen in the showroom. Rest assured, our team will use high-quality materials to ensure that your piece's color is beautiful and unique.
  • Do you deliver?
    Yes, we deliver for a fee based on your address. Call or text Gaby at 9056995416 for more information.
  • How long does it take for Life by the Pond to complete an order?
    It will take us between 5 to 6 weeks to have your piece ready for pick up or delivery. However, sometimes there are unexpected delays that are outside our control (e.g. sick leave, materials unavailable, etc.) but rest assured we will keep you posted on progress. At Life by the Pond, we prioritize the quality and craftsmanship of every piece we create, ensuring that our customers receive furniture that will stand the test of time. We understand that waiting can be frustrating, but we believe that the result is worth the wait.   • What's your refund & return policy
    We do not accept refunds or returns except for defective items which will be repaired or replaced. This is because our products are made to order and built according to customer specifications. To make sure you are getting what you paid for we will send a sketch for your approval a few days before working on your project, and will also confirm the color of your preference before staying or painting the piece(s).
  • What is your refund policy?
    We only accept refunds for defective pieces.
