Do you build custom pieces?Yes, we do! At Life by the Pond, we take pride in our ability to create unique, one-of-a-kind pieces for our clients. Whether you're looking for a specific size, shape, color, or design, we can work with you to create the perfect piece of furniture that meets your needs and preferences. Our team of skilled craftsmen and designers will collaborate with you to bring your vision to life, and we use only high-quality materials and techniques to ensure that your custom furniture will stand the test of time. How Do I Place an Order?If you want a product displayed in the shop you can: 1- Buy it online. You will be prompted to indicate the number of items, any specific size adjustment, alternative wood species, and the stain/paint colour. Do not sweat it! You will have at least 4 weeks to decide the colour after placing the order. 2- Request and accept a quote, and send a 50% deposit to info@lifebythepond.com If you want us to build a new design, please contact Gaby at 9056995416. She will assist you from inquiry to placing the order.

How do I order a Quartz Countertop?Check our Quartz Countertops page at https://www.lifebythepond.com/services-9 To order the one you like, please let Gaby know and she will prepare a quote for you, or include it in your invoice if you have already placed an order.

What are the Life by the Pond Handles and Knobs?Please check our Hardware page, they are all included in the cost already, all you have to do is let us know which ones you prefer. No discount will be applied if you choose not to purchase any of our handles or knobs.

How can I pay for my purchase at Life by the Pond?At Life by the Pond, we offer a variety of payment options to ensure our customers have a convenient and secure shopping experience. You can pay at our website which is fully PCI DSS compliant, meaning we meet the highest information security standard for companies accepting credit card payments. Alternatively, you can send and e-transfer to info@lifebythepond.com, stop by our shop to pay with debit or credit, or pay over the phone with credit.

Do you deliver?We encourage our clients to come pic-up their pieces at our workshop at no cost. However, we can also deliver for a fee based on your address. It may vary from $60 to $140 in the GTA and surrounding towns and cities. Call or text Gaby at 9056995416 for more information.

What types of wood do you use for your furniture at Life by the Pond?At Life by the Pond, we pride ourselves on using high-quality, durable woods for all of our furniture pieces. We primarily use pine, poplar, maple, oak, and black walnut. Regardless of the wood type, we ensure our furniture is crafted to the highest standards to provide you with a long-lasting and beautiful addition to your home.

What colors do you have available?Please check out the stain colors available at our Colours page. For projects with paint (not wood stain), we use Benjamin More, so any of their Advance colors will work on furniture. You may also contact Gaby at 9056995416 if you are looking for a specific stain color.

Will the furniture I receive from Life by the Pond be the same color as the piece I saw in the showroom?Life by the Pond shows customers pieces stained in a certain color so they can have an idea of the color tone it will turn out. However, as the pieces are built with lumber from different trees, each piece will have its unique color. This means that the new piece may turn out slightly darker or lighter than the one seen in the showroom. Rest assured, our team will use high-quality materials to ensure that your piece's color is beautiful and unique.

How long does it take for Life by the Pond to complete an order?It will take us between 6-7 weeks to have your piece ready for pick up or delivery. However, sometimes there are unexpected delays that are outside our control (e.g. sick leave, materials unavailable, etc.) but rest assured we will keep you posted on progress. At Life by the Pond, we prioritize the quality and craftsmanship of every piece we create, ensuring that our customers receive furniture that will stand the test of time. We understand that waiting can be frustrating, but we believe that the result is worth the wait. If you have any concerns or questions about your order, don't hesitate to reach out to Gaby who will be happy to assist you.

What's your refund & return policyWe do not accept refunds or returns except for defective items which will be repaired or replaced. This is because our products are made to order and built according to customer specifications. To make sure you are getting what you paid for we will send a sketch for your approval a few days before working on your project, and will also confirm the color of your preference before staying or painting the piece(s).
