Yes, we do size and colour variations of any of our designs and can also build new designs that are just a little different from existing pieces.

There a a few ways to order one of our pieces:

1- Buy it online with credit. You will be prompted to indicate the number of items, the preferred wood species, the number of the handle or knob of your preference, and the stain colour. The number of the hardware as well as the stain color can be given at a later date.

2- Send an e-trasnfer. Ask for a quote at info@lifebythepond.com, accept it, and send over a 50% deposit to the same email address.

3- Pay over the phone or in person. Request a quote and pay with credit, either in full or a 50% deposit, over the phone by calling Gaby at 9056995416, or in person at our workshop with debit or credit.

4- New designs. If you want us to build a new design, please contact Gaby at 9056995416. She will assist you from inquiry to placing the order.

Do not worry about the color of stain, or knobs & handles, you will have at least 4 weeks after placing the order to decide on one of our 20+ stain colors, and life by the pond handles & knobs.

When you are buying an item with a quartz countertop, we calculate the price based on the length of your wood piece and a 3/4" thick and 22"D counter in Pure White. You will have at least 4 weeks to decide on other Vida quartz colors, the price of the counter will likely be adjusted based on the color you choose.

Please check our Knobs & Handles page, they are all included in the cost already, all you have to do is let us know which ones you prefer.

No discount will be applied if you choose not to purchase any of our handles or knobs.

At Life by the Pond, we offer a variety of payment options to ensure our customers have a convenient and secure shopping experience. You can pay at our website which is fully PCI DSS compliant, meaning we meet the highest information security standard for companies accepting credit card payments.

Alternatively, you can send an e-transfer to info@lifebythepond.com, stop by our shop to pay with debit or credit, or pay over the phone with a credit card.

We encourage our clients to come pick up their pieces at our workshop at no cost. We are no longer providing delivery services for our clients. There are a few pickup truck owners who have offered to deliver for our clients, not Life by the Pond personnel, but independent contractors whom you can hire at your own risk.

At Life by the Pond, we pride ourselves on using high-quality, durable woods for all of our furniture pieces. We primarily use pine, poplar, ash, red oak, white oak, and black walnut. Regardless of the wood type, we ensure our furniture is crafted to the highest standards to provide you with a long-lasting and beautiful addition to your home.

No need to be concerned about the stain color anymore, as we have many colors available and custom stains are a possibility as well.

Start by looking at our Colours page, if you can't quite find what you are looking for, contact Gaby and she will help you find the right color for your project, There are over 20+ colors to choose from. There are many other stain colors available, and custom stains as well ( you may need to pay an additional fee of $50 for custom stains).

For projects with paint (not wood stain), we use Benjamin More, so any of their advanced colors will work on furniture.

Life by the Pond shows customers pieces stained in a certain color so they can have an idea of the color tone it will turn out. However, as the pieces are built with lumber from different trees, each piece will have its unique color. This means that the new piece may turn out slightly darker or lighter than the one seen in the showroom. Rest assured, our team will use high-quality materials to ensure that your piece's color is beautiful and unique.

It will take us 8 weeks to have your piece ready for pick up or delivery. However, sometimes there are unexpected delays that are outside our control (e.g. sick leave, materials unavailable, etc.) but rest assured we will keep you posted on progress. At Life by the Pond, we prioritize the quality and craftsmanship of every piece we create, ensuring that our customers receive furniture that will stand the test of time. We understand that waiting can be frustrating, but we believe that the result is worth the wait. We do not accept refunds or returns except for defective items which will be repaired or replaced. This is because our products are made to order and built according to customer specifications. To make sure you are getting what you paid for we will send a sketch for your approval a few days before working on your project, and will also confirm the color of your preference before staying or painting the piece(s).

Not really. We can build your bathroom vanity without a countertop, with a quartz countertop, or with a wood countertop. You choose whatever works for you.
